The Year’s Most Compelling Stem Cell Science Comes to Hamburg, Germany for ISSCR 2024
It is an exciting moment in time for stem cell science and regenerative medicine. Fueled by basic research and unparalleled development of new technologies, the field is seeing more stem cell-based clinical trials than at any time in history.
The ISSCR 2024 Annual Meeting in Hamburg, Germany 10-13 July promises to showcase some of the most compelling discoveries of the year and drive meaningful conversations around those advances that are yielding new insights and accelerating progress. The ISSCR Annual Meeting, globally recognized for its exceptional scientific program, will weave together a broad spectrum of topics in stem cell biology, new technologies, and clinical applications to showcase the most compelling stem cell science.

The meeting will kick off with the Presidential Symposium, which will showcase research advances from leaders in the fields of tissue stem cells, pluripotent stem cells, stem cell genomics and machine learning. Speakers include Magdalena Goetz, Helmholtz Zentrum München, Germany, Tina Mukherjee, Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (InStem), India, Kathrin Plath, David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA, USA, and Sarah Teichmann, Wellcome Sanger Institute, UK.
