ISSCR Membership: A Mark of Excellence

It has been an exciting few months into to my presidential year. I have focused on engaging our members more in the society’s activities through new opportunities such as the Science Spotlights added to the 2023 Annual Meeting program and am enthusiastic to announce the 10 members of the new Stem Cell Reports Early Career Editorial Board.

Now, I am delighted to announce that the ISSCR Board of Directors has expanded membership into two new categories to make all of the society’s benefits even more accessible to Trainees in 2023. We have heard you and want to help ensure that students can take advantage of the extraordinary scientific content found on ISSCR.digital, preferred pricing for the annual meeting and symposia, and opportunities to build new connections through in-person and online networking. Membership in the ISSCR is career-defining, with the society’s global leadership in ISSCR Guidelines, the ongoing Standards initiative, public policy activities, and reputation for scientific excellence and integrity.

The former Trainee membership rate now has been split into Student and Postdoctoral membership rates to help make benefits even more affordable to undergraduate or graduate students in stem cell-related programs. We hope you agree that this change is another positive step in bringing our global community together and cultivating a deeper sense of belonging. We hope the society has earned your membership and you will continue to be a part of the ISSCR in the coming year and beyond.

Thank you for being a part of our global community. Learn more at ISSCR.org/membership. Let’s embrace ISSCR as a truly global community for stem cell research with all of its vitality and diversity!
