2025 Election Nominations
Each year, the ISSCR calls on our community to nominate future leaders of the Society.
The ISSCR Nominating Committee is actively seeking nominations for Vice President, Clerk, Treasurer, and one Director.
Nominations are open through 11:59 p.m. EDT (USA) on 30 September 2024 .
Open Positions
Board of Directors
There is one open board seat for the 2025 election. More information will follow on desired expertise. Interested individual are encouraged to self-nominate.
Vice President
The Vice President serves four years on the executive committee, first as Vice President, then Incoming President, President, and Past President.
Clerk
Oversees the Society’s committees, including structure, mission, and membership, with the goal of achieving equity, diversity, and inclusion across all Society functions. The Clerk serves as Chair of the Strategic Oversight Committee.
Treasurer
Oversees ISSCR finances to ensure fiscal responsibility and assess risk. The Treasurer is chair of the Finance and Audit Committee, and a member of the Executive Committee.
The Election Process
Nominations may be made regardless of membership in the ISSCR. Voting is made available only to Full, Student, and Postdoc ISSCR members.
All candidates are reviewed by the ISSCR Nominating Committee for eligibility based on their professional background, contributions to the field, and expertise needed for the strategic direction of the society. The ISSCR strives for diversity in nationality, perspective, and background.
Candidates selected by the Nominating Committee will be slated in the general membership election in February 2025.
